Senior Solutions Architect

TL;DR

Senior Solutions Architect: Designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of the business and stakeholders with an accent on assessing new technologies and ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security. Focus on leading technical projects, providing guidance to project teams, and leading demos for external clients.

Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time)

Salary: $150-200k USD/ year

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain a holistic view of the organization's technology architecture, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are designed, developed, and delivered according to architectural standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization's architecture.
• Lead the development of proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility of new technologies.
• Work closely with external clients to understand their needs and lead demos to showcase the solutions developed.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication and cross-organizational skills.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Seven years of cloud engineering experience.
• Experience with designing complex cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
• Proficient in creating detailed architectural diagrams and documentation to communicate design solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with high-traffic, large-scale applications and distributed systems.
