Strategic Consulting Lead (Public Sector): Leading strategic advisory and growth for 's digital services within the UK Public Sector with an accent on navigating GDS Service Standards, modernising legacy IT estates, and fostering user-centred digital delivery. Focus on developing modernisation roadmaps, driving high-value bids, and shaping public sector digital policy through thought leadership.
Location: Must be based in the UK, specifically London, or be eligible for Security Check (SC) level clearance for UK government programs.

What you will do
- Act as a strategic peer to Senior Civil Servants, guiding digital transformation and service delivery.
- Advise on breaking down 'Big IT' silos and implementing agile, multi-disciplinary team structures within government frameworks.
- Lead high-value bids and identify emerging digital service needs within Central Government.
- Grow an extensive network of senior officials, decision-makers, and policy influencers across the public sector.
- Represent at major industry forums and produce thought leadership content on the future of government digital services.
- Engage with bodies like the CDDO to help shape future digital standards and policy.
Requirements
- Significant senior digital leadership experience within the UK Government or a technology services provider.
- Profound understanding of the Government Service Standard lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live) and successful service assessment navigation.
- Proven commercial acumen to translate market trends into successful business growth and long-term partnerships.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex technical or political narratives for executive-level audiences.
- Must currently hold, or be eligible for, Security Check (SC) level clearance, a mandatory requirement for sensitive government programmes.
