TL;DR
Capability Owner (Broadcasting): Own strategy and roadmap for a defined segment of the playout supply chain with quantified benefits, risks and costs. Focus on simplifying operations, identifying AI and automation opportunities, writing functional specifications and ensuring end-to-end performance from development to live operations.
Location: Hybrid working with 3 days a week onsite in Osterley campus, London.

What you will do
- Own strategy and roadmap for your domain with quantified benefits, risks and costs.
- Identify simplification, automation or AI opportunities; prepare business cases with financial impact.
- Write functional specifications and user stories; embed with engineering squads during build.
- Coordinate operational testing, govern handover and own in-life performance with KPIs and dashboards.
- Partner with operations, insight and workforce teams for rollout, feedback and training.
- Keep standards, procedures and documentation current and actionable.
Requirements
- Deep experience in linear broadcasting and playout operations or related media engineering.
- Track record owning workflow end-to-end: business casing, specs, embedding with squads, testing, acceptance and performance.
- Quantifying financial impact and maintaining benefits register.
- Defining business rules, requirements and acceptance criteria aligned to goals.
- Change governance in live environments and cross-functional coordination.
- Senior stakeholder influence and data literacy for KPIs and dashboards.
Nice to have
- Experience in managed-service propositions or multi-territory workflows.
- Agile literacy and using demos to validate with operators.
