What you will do

• Act as a strategic advisor to Senior Civil Servants (SCS1/2), guiding them through GDS Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice.
• Provide consultations to transition departments from "Digital Transformation" concepts to "Digital Delivery" realities.
• Advise on modernization roadmaps, breaking down "Big IT" silos, and implementing agile structures within government frameworks.
• Lead high-value bids for public sector procurement frameworks, ensuring proposals are grounded in deep departmental context.
• Identify emerging needs within Central Government, including AI-driven automation and data-sharing initiatives.
• Represent hirify.global at major industry forums and engage with bodies like CDDO to help shape future standards.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior digital role within the UK Government (ideally ex-GDS or major delivery department) or a senior leadership role at a technology services provider.
• Profound understanding of the Government Service Standard lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live) and how to successfully navigate a service through assessment.
• Proven commercial acumen to translate market trends into successful business growth and long-term partnerships.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex technical or political narratives for executive-level audiences.
• Must currently hold, or be eligible for, Security Check (SC) level clearance.
