What you will do
- Drive Network Vulnerability Detection by leading development of detection capabilities and setting technical vision.
- Research emerging threats and translate findings into actionable detection capabilities.
- Build and lead a distributed team of vulnerability detection engineers and technical leads.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align detection capabilities with customer needs and influence platform evolution.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of vulnerability detections through automated validation processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years in cybersecurity or vulnerability management.
- 5+ years management experience with proven ability to lead technical teams.
- Hands-on technical leadership with vulnerability detection techniques and network security.
- Programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
- Must be able to work 2+ days per week on site from Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA offices.
Nice to have
- Network device fingerprinting and assessment experience.
- Vulnerability management product development background.
- GenAI/Agentic AI automation experience for security workflows.
- Understanding of CVE analysis, CVSS scoring, and risk-based prioritization.
