What you will do

• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, guiding a team of software engineers across frontend and backend domains.
• Partner closely with Engineering Leadership, Product Management, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define team goals, set clear expectations, and coordinate execution to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.
• Coach and mentor engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
• Promote modern engineering practices that improve communication, collaboration, and autonomous decision making.
• Support and guide the team as they tackle complex technical challenges, facilitating structured problem solving and architectural thinking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience and 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
• Strong background in building modern, scalable backend and/or web applications.
• Curiosity and passion for security fundamentals, especially x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols such as ACME and SCEP.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative leadership mindset.
• Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time.
