What you will do

• Scope, resource, and execute a company-wide reliability and engineering velocity roadmap across diverse environments and clouds.
• Lead development and improvement of SLOs across the entire company, spanning multi-region and multi-cloud.
• Drive execution and solutioning for a diverse set of technical challenges at immense scale, involving real-time streaming infrastructure, compute, and AI-at-edge.
• Attract and hire top talent, scale out the team (ICs and managers), and iterate on the hiring process.
• Mentor and develop careers for senior engineering teams, fostering a de-siloed, hivemind culture.
• Collaborate with department heads across product engineering, security, product management, and commercial to align and execute a strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• English: B2 required.
• Work authorization for the US required.
• 3-6+ years as a manager in rapidly growing organizations, including at least 1 year as a manager of managers.
• Track record of leading performance engineering, load testing, chaos engineering, and large-scale distributed telemetry implementation.
• Experience with major architectural and software refactors, engineering velocity, and full-stack development.
• Experience running production workloads in more than one cloud provider.
• Experience managing workloads across containerized solutions, Kubernetes, and CNCF-approved tooling (Argo, Istio, OTel).
