Software Development Manager

TL;DR

Software Development Manager (.NET): Overseeing and contributing to the creation of solutions and architectures for high-volume, high-transaction applications across the hirify.global Employer Services (EES) organization with an accent on code reviews and security. Focus on mentoring engineers, enhancing Agile posture, and planning SCRUM teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $133,109 - $239,596

What you will do

• Oversee progress, daily-activity status, and overall main project activities on a daily basis.
• Work with engineering teams, UI/UX, and QA to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to establish and steward a multi-year development roadmap.
• Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
• Improve the efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs.
• Provide regular/meaningful updates to leadership on sprint progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of professional management experience.
• 8+ years of professional Microsoft .NET development and architecture experience.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Solutions (IaaS, SaaS).
• Experience with C#, .NET Framework & DotNet Core.

Nice to have

• Experience with API development and integrations.
• Knowledgeable in the latest Architectural Patterns and Cloud Native development.
• Experience in API's microservices, container development and integrations.
• Experience with ETL technologies like SSIS, ADF, Data Bricks.
