What you will do

• Lead Data and Analytics Platform teams, defining technical vision and roadmap.
• Build and operate foundational data infrastructure for decision-making.
• Guarantee reliability and resilience of Core Data Platform and Analytics Platform.
• Define supported patterns, governance frameworks, and manage platform costs.
• Manage and develop data engineers, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Align teams to Group objectives, remove blockers, and report on platform health.

Requirements

• Proven engineering management experience with direct line management of data or platform engineering teams.
• Deep technical understanding of data infrastructure, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, streaming systems, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience building self-service platforms with clear contracts and abstractions.
• Ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into platform capabilities.
• Track record of owning reliability, incident response, and operational metrics for production systems.
• Strong understanding of modern data engineering patterns, SQL, data modelling, infrastructure as code, CI/CD practices, and data governance.
