What you will do

• Conduct end-to-end KYC reviews, including collection, documentation, due diligence, and escalation of customers.
• Critically examine customer profile changes, transactional activity, and documentation for material risk factors and red flags.
• Update internal records to enrich customer KYC files and ensure the customer's nature of business aligns with their profiles.
• Escalate and draft executive-level risk acceptance memos for high-risk customers, summarizing findings and next steps.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor client relationships on an ongoing basis and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Monitor industry trends related to money laundering or fraud schemes and leverage AI tools to improve review efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in AML and KYC reviews for corporates, with 2 years in crypto, preferable in ongoing monitoring of higher and high risk customers.
• B.A./B.S. degree (quantitative or technical degree a plus).
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and comfortable digging into data.
• Strong communication skills and presence, with the ability to interface with internal and external teams.
• A passion for harnessing the power of digital currency and blockchain technology, with a deep understanding of it.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fully remote environment across multiple time-zones.

• CAMS, CFCS or CFE certification.
