What you will do

• Design, manage, and support key onboarding platforms for asset management clients.
• Advance highly-available distributed systems focusing on availability, resiliency, performance, and advanced monitoring.
• Manage a regional team of engineers and business relationships as a local subject matter expert.
• Lead application SDLC, deployment, and runtime management to reduce product cycle time.
• Oversee infrastructure services, including proxies, load balancing, and cloud integration.
• Manage risk through resiliency design, planning, and analysis of availability metrics.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering Field.
• 7+ years combined experience in an Engineering Capacity, including 5+ years of Java development and other programming languages with Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and testing best practices.
• 4+ years in a system architecture role, responsible for tool selection, design decisions, performance optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with SQL dialects and distributed systems.
• Strong creative leader with an analytical mindset, able to solve difficult technical problems under pressure.
• Experience collaborating with product/business managers and managing junior developers/regional teams.
