What you will do

• Provide best practices and architectural guidance for REST API and Microservice/SOA development across the organization.
• Design and review API specifications to ensure strict adherence to REST standards.
• Train and mentor development teams on utilizing the company's suite of API development tools.
• Assist teams in promoting their APIs to Enterprise and Productize levels for wide market consumption.
• Collaborate across a matrix organization to implement highly complex multi-service application solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years of experience, or 5-7 years of experience without a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in API development using Apigee or a similar API Gateway product.
• Strong technical expertise in Java Spring, Node JS, REST, SOAP, and Swagger Hub (JSON/YAML).
• Experience with Agile development (JIRA, Bitbucket) and CI/CD environments (Jenkins).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Strong working knowledge of the Financial Industry and Consumer Lending.
• Architectural knowledge of application development in Microservice environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps process fundamentals.
