What you will do

• Partner with Account Director and team members to engage with DND/CAF early in the sales cycle for infrastructure modernization.
• Collaborate with government personnel to understand their mandates, mission objectives, and technical requirements.
• Design and develop scalable, secure network solutions aligned with industry best practices for DND/CAF.
• Create detailed technical presentations and solution blueprints.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance during the pre-implementation phase to the services delivery team.
• Participate in assessments and audits of existing network infrastructures.
• Maintain relevant technical certifications and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Nurture strategic relationships with key partners and vendors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Cisco technologies, in directly selling or supporting as a presales resource in the public sector.
• Extensive experience with Cisco networking, security, and collaboration technologies and solutions.
• Strong understanding of network design, application platform, and infrastructure architecture principles and best practices.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing network solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• English B2 proficiency required.
• Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable, or commitment to achieving them.
• Active security clearance (secret or higher) is an asset.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
