TL;DR

Product Owner (Fintech): Leading and evolving data-driven risk products to protect consumers and empower the business with an accent on product vision, roadmap development, and change delivery. Focus on shaping user stories, partnering with engineering for design and development of group-wide technology assets, and driving product performance and impactful change.

Location: Hybrid (Halifax, UK), with at least two days per week, or 40% of time, spent at an office site.

Salary: £78,098 – £101,068

What you will do

• Lead product vision and roadmap for multiple feature teams, focusing on high-value outcomes.
• Shape and refine user stories and customer journeys using data insights.
• Own and champion change delivery, ensuring implementation readiness.
• Partner with engineering on technology asset design and development, managing budgets.
• Drive product performance, risk management, supplier strategy, and team capability growth.
• Lead impactful change, introducing new ways of working and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Experience delivering customer value frequently through iterative Agile release cycles.
• Experience breaking down work, defining, and managing backlogs.
• Managing stakeholders at all levels to enable and embed change.
• Leadership experience of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve common outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in Financial Services or data-centric industries.
• Experience with GCP or Cloud technology.
