What you will do

• Own and evolve contractor security, access governance, and technical onboarding programs.
• Develop and maintain policies for contractor access levels, permissioning frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Design and continuously improve the onboarding experience for technical roles (Engineering, Research, Security, IT).
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Security, Legal, People, and IT teams to ensure resources are ready for new hires.
• Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and certifications for the contingent workforce.
• Act as a liaison between security requirements and business needs, translating complex policies into user-friendly guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce management, security operations, or HR operations.
• Demonstrated experience building or managing contractor/vendor security programs.
• Familiarity with identity and access management principles, least-privilege access, and role-based access control.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and their application to workforce management.
• Track record of building or improving onboarding programs.
• Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and excel at documentation creation and process design.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Ability to balance security posture with speed and contractor experience.
• Knowledge of international compliance considerations (data residency, GDPR, regional privacy laws).
• Familiarity with tools like Workday, Okta, or similar HRIS/IAM platforms.
• Background in HR, IT, or Security operations; experience in AI/ML companies or environments with heightened security requirements.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks; experience with vendor management systems or procurement processes.
• Certifications in security (CISSP, CISM) or project management (PMP).
