Product Marketing Manager (Fintech): Owns the strategy and execution of product marketing for a defined portfolio, shaping product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market. Focus on accelerating time to revenue, maximizing product release impact, and driving customer adoption, engagement, and retention through data-driven campaigns.

Location: Hybrid in Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 AUD + superannuation.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing and communications strategies.
  • Own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across channels.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing to deliver effective go-to-market plans.
  • Build tools, content, and programs to drive customer adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead product launches, feature releases, and ongoing product storytelling.
  • Conduct market and customer research to inform audience segmentation and messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience in product or B2B marketing, ideally across consumer-facing products, financial services, digital banking, payments, or technology-led businesses.
  • Experience operating within large, matrixed organisations.
  • Comfortable owning a product marketing portfolio end to end.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching and scaling products in eCommerce, FinTech or PayTech.
  • A strong track record in developing compelling value propositions and product narratives.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including pricing, offers and commercial optimisation.
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification (or equivalent).
