TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Melbourne, Australia) with 3 days in the office. Must adhere to Australian regulatory requirements.

What you will do

  • Plan, build, and execute data-driven campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app to drive conversion, onboarding, retention, engagement, and reactivation.
  • Leverage IG customer segmentation to deliver personalised campaign journeys based on data, behaviour, product usage, and risk profiles.
  • Track, analyse, and report on CRM campaign performance, generating insights to continuously test, learn, and improve effectiveness.
  • Ensure all CRM activity adheres to Australian regulatory requirements (Spam Act, Privacy Act, ASIC guidelines) and maintain appropriate consent and audit trails.
  • Support Marketing, Product, Trading, and Compliance teams by executing promotional and essential CRM campaigns.
  • Coordinate campaign scheduling and stay current on CRM trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the Australian fintech landscape.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in CRM, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or related digital marketing roles, ideally with exposure to financial services or fintech.
  • Working knowledge of customer engagement platforms like Braze (preferred) or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Foundational technical skills in HTML and SQL for campaign development.
  • Experience supporting multi-channel CRM campaigns focused on acquisition, retention, or engagement outcomes.
  • Understanding of key CRM engagement metrics and willingness to learn testing methodologies.
  • Awareness of subscription management and preference centres, with understanding of Australian privacy and anti-spam legislation requirements.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to interpret customer data and contribute insights to CRM strategy.
  • Strong communication and collaborative mindset for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to regulated industries or an interest in learning about compliance frameworks, including ASIC requirements.
  • Familiarity with other Martech and reporting tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau.
  • Interest in financial markets and trading products (shares, CFDs, forex, crypto).
  • Experience working in collaborative team environments with stakeholders across different functions or locations.
