What you will do
- Lead as a technical expert, actively writing well-designed code, conducting code reviews, and ensuring software development best practices.
- Contribute directly to team velocity through individual contributions while tracking KPIs and team norms.
- Mentor and grow team members through hands-on technical guidance, pairing sessions, and code reviews, and assist in hiring.
- Cultivate an engineering culture that supports innovation while delivering high-quality and reliable products.
- Build strong working relationships with leaders and other departments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in a full-stack environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and design.
- Proficiency with Golang, Python, React, AWS, Gitlab, and JavaScript.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to empower and encourage technical teams.
- Experience building scalable flowchart architecture diagrams.
