What you will do

• Lead a Helsinki-based Core Services full-stack engineering team building foundational application capabilities.
• Be accountable for delivery, technology, and people management within the team.
• Partner with the Product Manager to focus on high-leverage foundational work.
• Inspire, empower, and coach team members to achieve technical expertise and productivity.
• Ensure smooth operation of team's services in production, meeting quality requirements.
• Define and improve agile software development processes and day-to-day practices.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering management or technical leadership roles.
• Understanding of software developer day-to-day work through technical background or extensive experience.
• Good understanding and practical experience of agile software development principles and methodologies.
• English: Fluent communication required.
• Good understanding of modern cloud technologies and SaaS development (e.g., Azure).
• Experience with platform technologies where impact is made through enabling other engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Identity Management, Role-Based Access Control, or API platforms.
