Scrum Master (Government IT)

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 Annually

What you will do

• Act as a servant-leader for an Agile team, ensuring Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate team meetings, remove impediments, and coach the team on Agile principles.
• Guide the team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework, including organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies.
• Work closely with the product owner and development team to plan and execute sprints.
• Create and maintain project timelines, identify and manage risks, and monitor progress against project goals.
• Act as a liaison to improve communication between the development team and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience (or commensurate experience).
• Must have experience working in an Agile environment.
• Must possess leadership skills and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
• Certified Scrum Master.
• SAFe certified.
