Website Product Owner (E-commerce): Responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of hirify.global’s direct sales channel (hirify.global.com), bridging business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility with an accent on driving conversion and advocacy through a transparent, high-performing web platform, managing the product roadmap, and prioritizing the backlog. Focus on increasing website conversion rates and CSAT, optimizing checkout, and improving website speed and SEO, all within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Location: Amsterdam-based position (you should have the right to work in the Netherlands)

What you will do

  • Define and share the website product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hirify.global's direct sales channel.
  • Develop and maintain the website product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing items based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria for website features and optimizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the development team and as a project manager for various stakeholders (product, brand & marketing, customer service).
  • Monitor website performance and user feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  • Organize and facilitate Scrum meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the website complies with relevant accessibility and legal standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a consumer-facing website in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a product backlog effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to align diverse groups around a product vision.
  • Proficiency in data and analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Looker.
  • Technical familiarity to follow discussions about APIs, frontend/backend limitations, and database logic.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to uncover technical risks or dependencies.
  • Strong strategic prioritization skills, including the ability to say ‘no’ to low-value requests and justify decisions.

Nice to have

  • Deep knowledge of Scrum ceremonies and experience in improving team velocity and quality.
  • Excitement about how AI is changing product management and knowledge of how to leverage AI.
