Product Owner (Security)

TL;DR

Senior Product Owner (Security): Further developing an on-premises access control system with an accent on security, compliance, and stability. Focus on gathering market insights, prioritizing product choices, and leading multidisciplinary R&D teams.

Location: Hybrid in Groenlo, Netherlands (requires presence at campus at least twice a week).

Salary: €4,500–€6,500 gross per month.

What you will do

• Work with two R&D teams on the AEOS access control system for further development.
• Actively gather market insights and translate them into clear product choices and priorities.
• Fulfill a leadership role within the team, encouraging collaboration and ownership.
• Monitor consistency, progress, and alignment with user needs during development.
• Proactively manage diverse stakeholders to translate product strategy into a roadmap and initiatives.
• Prioritize and manage the backlog based on data, stakeholder input, and business value.
• Ensure the product remains maintainable, supportable, secure, and reliable throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Project Lead in a similar environment.
• Team Lead experience in substantively managing and coaching professionals within a multidisciplinary team.
• Technical affinity for or knowledge of technology/software development.
• Good command of the English language.
• Ability to make clear choices amid complexity and justify decisions.
• Possess communication and social skills to encourage a feedback culture and safe environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Dutch.
• Knowledge of Jira.
• PSPO certificates.
