What you will do
- Establish and maintain category plans aligned with business and technology strategy to create commercial value and ensure resilience.
- Execute end-to-end sourcing activities, including market assessments, complex supplier negotiations, and contract implementation.
- Negotiate and structure commercial agreements, ensuring they deliver through the contract term and protect the company post-contract.
- Establish a robust governance framework to manage supplier relationships, measuring performance and risk.
- Drive sustainable savings targets for the financial year while aligning all activities to the ESG plan.
Requirements
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to build category plans and drive cost savings, supplier resilience, and governance.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with experience leading high-value, complex negotiations, including outsourcing and offshoring.
- Ability to constructively challenge business areas with new ways of working, technology, and processes.
- Comfortable coaching and mentoring Contract Managers to enhance commercial value across the supplier lifecycle.
- Innovative, inquisitive nature with the ability to confidently challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Good data analytics skills to understand and consolidate financial, economic, risk, and contractual data.

- Experience working in a technology business, knowledgeable of cloud, AI, and automation technology.
- Knowledge and credibility across various technologies and categories, including Professional Services.
- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape in a Financial Services environment.
