TL;DR

What you will do

  • Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters across the global group.
  • Assist with M&A activity, including due diligence, drafting, and post-closing integration.
  • Support on HR and employment-related matters, including advising on employee relations.
  • Manage employee equity schemes, including drafting grants and maintaining records.
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts across suppliers, customers, and partners.
  • Provide general legal support and educate the business on compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or another major common law jurisdiction.
  • Solid grounding in corporate and commercial law.
  • Exposure to M&A transactions, with experience in drafting and due diligence.
  • Strong technical, drafting, legal research, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex legal matters to non-lawyers.
  • Strong commercial acumen and judgment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects and internal clients.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to employee equity/compensation structures, ideally with an international aspect.
  • Exposure to HR and employment matters advising on day-to-day employee relations.
