What you will do

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for a team of talented Product Designers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to guide the team in building products that address real customer needs.
• Transform ambiguity into clarity by leveraging design expertise and processes.
• Inspire and lead innovation, exploration, and a high-performance mindset within the team.
• Think strategically, framing designs within the broader customer experience, while also diving into detailed execution.
• Gain alignment by sharing work with stakeholders and executive leaders, facilitating review and gathering feedback.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Design, with at least 5+ years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Demonstrated experience leading high-velocity Design teams to have a meaningful impact.
• Extensive experience leading consumer-facing Product Design teams focused on native iOS and Android apps.
• Ability to create design direction and processes that balance small design iterations with larger experience changes.
• A strong bias-to-action, analytical approach to Design work, and strong communication skills.
