Legal Counsel (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote (US-based). Requires legal education from a US university and experience practicing law in the US.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD/year (base + targeted commission).

What you will do

• Lead regional legal issues and contracts, supporting the EMEA Sales team and negotiating regional commercial deals.
• Provide legal advice, interpretation, and guidance to the hirify.global leadership team regarding contracts and other business matters.
• Negotiate, review, and draft documentation for business transactions.
• Prepare and advise functional departments on aspects of laws.

Requirements

• Legal education from a US university.
• 8+ years of experience as a qualified attorney practicing law in the US, with part of it as in-house counsel in high-growth companies.
• Excellent commercial agreement drafting and efficient deal closure skills, with experience supporting SaaS deals with customers in Europe and the Middle East.
• Experience with privacy matters, including negotiating Data Processing Agreements, DORA Agreements, and conducting privacy impact assessments.
• Experience with data security matters, including evaluating customer and vendor security requirements in a SaaS environment.
• Experience supporting channel business, including alliances and partner program development.

• Experience drafting and negotiating agreements for AI services.
