Data Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support analytical activities for AML/CFT and sanctions monitoring, including heuristic analyses and customer behavior insights.
• Assist in designing and running A/B tests to measure the effectiveness of monitoring strategies.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses, deep dives, and data investigations to answer business questions.
• Work with engineering, data, and compliance teams to refine AML rules and improve data availability.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs, ensuring information is reliable and easy to understand.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of AML/CFT metrics and investigate anomalies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, or other quantitative roles, ideally in financial services or fintech.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining datasets, ETLs, and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of segmentation, heuristic analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing).

Nice to have

• Exposure to AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, or financial crime prevention.
• Basic knowledge of ML techniques or familiarity with tools such as scikit-learn or SageMaker.
