Games Marketing Lead (Gamedev): Defining and delivering marketing strategies for hirify.global's publishing portfolio with an accent on new game launches, live service support, and player engagement. Focus on leading campaign development, messaging, and creative content to effectively position and communicate games to their audience.

Location: Hybrid in Middlesbrough, UK with up to 2 days working from home per week. UK relocation support available, however, visa sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

  • Define and lead marketing strategies for assigned game titles across their lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Manage and coordinate the creation and release of marketing assets like trailers and key art.
  • Lead marketing efforts for live service content to drive player acquisition, re-engagement, and retention.
  • Manage and mentor a small cross-functional team including Community Managers and a Content Creator.
  • Collaborate with platform partners, external vendors, and influencers to maximize game visibility.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in games marketing for new launches and live service titles.
  • Proven track record of authoring and leading integrated cross-functional campaigns.
  • Experience in aligning marketing activity to player acquisition, re-engagement, and retention.
  • Experience managing and developing community or content-focused team members.
  • Ability to interpret player behavior and sentiment to inform strategy.
  • Skilled in briefing and reviewing creative assets across platforms.

Nice to have

  • Well-networked within the games industry, influencer communities, or platform ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with platform promotional tools or co-marketing.
  • Experience working with development or production teams.
  • Exposure to lifecycle marketing or CRM tools.
