What you will do
- Define and lead integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across the full game lifecycle.
- Design and deliver campaigns for new player acquisition, re-engagement, and community retention, especially for live service content.
- Manage and support community managers and content creators, ensuring consistent brand alignment and high-quality player-facing content.
- Monitor community sentiment and player behavior to inform marketing and publishing decisions.
- Collaborate with platform partners and manage external vendors for effective assets and activations.
- Lead player-facing communication during outages or emergent issues, collaborating on tone and timing.
Requirements
- Significant experience in games marketing, including new launches and live service titles (live service experience is critical).
- Proven track record of authoring and leading integrated campaigns and cross-functional planning.
- Demonstrable experience in aligning marketing activities with player acquisition, re-engagement, and retention.
- Experience managing and developing community or content-focused team members.
- Confidence in interpreting player behavior and sentiment to guide strategy.
- Skilled in briefing and reviewing creative assets across various formats and platforms.
Nice to have
- Well-networked within the games industry, influencer communities, or platform ecosystems.
- Familiarity with platform promotional tools, storefront merchandising, or co-marketing.
- Experience working closely with development or production teams.
- Exposure to lifecycle marketing, player segmentation, or CRM tools.
