What you will do
- Collaborate with the Lead Environment Artist to create high-quality environments and assets.
- Contribute to level design and work closely with the level design team.
- Design, prototype, and create AAA-quality game assets while meeting deadlines.
- Develop high-poly and low-poly models of environmental objects like props, buildings, trees, and tile-sets.
- Apply photo-realistic texturing to environmental objects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the video game industry, preferably on at least one successful AAA project on PC and/or consoles.
- High proficiency in Max | Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter | Designer.
- Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, texturing, and material work.
- Advanced knowledge of physically based material workflows and shaders.
- Great team player with willingness to seek and provide feedback.
- Awareness of current industry trends and techniques.
Nice to have
- Understanding of photogrammetry processes and workflows.
- Expertise with PBR, lighting, rendering, and material authoring.
- Demonstrated ability to work across different visual styles.
- Good knowledge of engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine 5.
- Portfolio showcasing photorealistic environment art.
