hirify.global is seeking a gifted and ambitious Prop Artist to join their experienced team.
What you will do
- Collaborate with an Art Lead to ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Create a diverse range of 3D prop art for both exterior and interior environments, encompassing complex machinery and organic forms.
- Leverage next-gen PBR materials to achieve the highest quality visuals.
- Work from photo references and concepts to produce assets during the production process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar position in the video game industry, preferably with involvement in at least one successful AAA project on PC and | or consoles.
- Excellent proficiency in modeling tools such as Max, Maya, Blender, and ZBrush (including UV layouts and retopology).
- Mastery of the PBR Pipeline for texture creation, utilizing tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, and baking tools.
- Understanding of artistic principles including form, proportions, volume, silhouette, color, and more.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new pipeline and tech tools.
- Highly motivated, with excellent communication, time management, and team-player attitude.
Nice to have
- Understanding of photogrammetry processes and workflows.
- Expertise in PBR, lighting, rendering, and material authoring.
- Good knowledge of engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine 5, etc.
- Portfolio showcasing photorealistic props art.
- Passion for video game development.
