Analytics Engineering Advocate (AI)

Location: Remote; working hours must align with UTC +/- 3

Salary: £65,000–£100,000 annually, plus 0.1%–0.3% equity

What you will do

• Support users in shared Slack channels and calls by diagnosing issues, answering questions, triaging bugs, and pair-programming through complex problems.
• Provide guidance on dashboards, SQL, analytics engineering practices, data modeling, analytics architecture, and process improvement.
• Become a hirify.global expert, explain product capabilities and AI-powered workflows, and connect user needs with product strategy and feature development.
• Create tutorials, documentation, guides, blog posts, videos, demos, and code examples that make technical concepts accessible.
• Represent hirify.global at community events, conferences, and meetups while developing strategies to grow the analytics engineering community.
• Use AI tools for task management, technical problem-solving, analytics engineering work, content creation, and potentially code contributions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with dbt, SQL, data modeling, and modern data stacks.
• Comfort with Git, the command line, and data visualization tools.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants and productivity tools, including using AI to write code and debug issues.
• Deep understanding of business intelligence and analytics engineering workflows.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Availability to work within UTC +/- 3 is required.

• Experience representing products at community events, conferences, or meetups.
• Experience creating technical documentation, tutorials, videos, or code examples.
