Community Lead (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada; in-person collaboration is available in the Bay Area.

What you will do

• Define the strategy for supporting developers, researchers, and enterprises seeking greater control over AI.
• Build and manage developer community spaces, including Discord and forums, while answering questions and collecting feedback.
• Organize and lead meetups, hackathons, office hours, and live streams for developer audiences.
• Collaborate with developer groups, universities, accelerators, and open-source communities on events and ecosystem initiatives.
• Showcase user projects and design partners through case studies, writeups, and guest talks.
• Create scalable community operations systems and work with technical and marketing teams on feedback loops.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a community lead role engaging technical users.
• Experience building scalable processes from scratch and completing cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong written communication and experience engaging communities through Discord and X.
• Proven ability to organize developer events end to end, from meetups to large-scale hackathons.
• Empathy for developers, curiosity about their work, and strong interpersonal skills.
