Staff Quality Engineer

TL;DR

Staff Quality Engineer: Responsible for test automation, test case management and mentoring of other engineers. Focus on writing and automating functional test cases, and leading a team.

Location: Hybrid

Salary: $111,800 to $165,000

What you will do

• Provide risk analysis, prioritization, and scheduling of automation and regression test efforts
• Communicate test status and impediments to stakeholders
• Create test plans and delegate tasks to the team if needed
• Create, execute, and record test cases and test results
• Report defects in JIRA
• Perform log analysis and troubleshooting using Charles Proxy and other native debugging tools

Requirements

• A BSEE or BSCS or equivalent is required. MSEE or MSCS or equivalent preferred.
• 7+ years of successful, relevant software development and validation experience.
• Proficiency with test automation using Selenium, Cucumber and other automation tools
• Proficiency in software testing and test methodologies
• Expertise in creating functional test cases
• Familiarity with programming languages (C++, Java) and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
