What you will do

• Perform manual test execution, report defects, and perform defect triaging with system architects, developers, and product owners.
• Perform the release check-list and coordinate with QA to gather all test results before release.
• Handle internal and public testing as part of the release process and perform independent and hotfix releases when issues are observed in the field.
• Work with Engineering teams to optimize SDLC testing.
• Apply software engineering best practices while developing and testing.

Requirements

• Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
• Must have 1 year of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts, and building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
• Experience building and testing software solutions using Agile methodology and DevOps development practices.
• Experience building automated test scripts using Java and/or Python for backend API testing.
• Experience identifying, recording, resolving, and documenting software bugs, including tracking bugs and test metrics.
