Principal Test Engineer

Salary: $133,500–$200,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on the Advantest 93K tester platform.
• Design and develop ATE test hardware for high-speed testing (above 112Gbps).
• Create detailed test plans and methodologies that meet stringent product specifications.
• Collaborate with DFx and Design teams on testability and test plan reviews to enhance yield and test methodologies.
• Convert test plans from the design simulation environment to ATE format.
• Optimize test flows, reduce test times, improve yields, and release production test programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process technology, DFT/DFM, and high-speed SerDes testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, and Linux environment.
• Effective interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated individual contributor with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable U.S. law.
