Communications Intern

TL;DR

Communications Intern (PR Communications): Supporting the Corporate Communications team by contributing to both internal and external communications initiatives with an accent on keeping employees informed, supporting executive storytelling, and strengthening external presence. Focus on sharpening writing, editing, and project management skills.

Location: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

What you will do

• Update and maintain hirify.global’s online newsroom, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and well-written.
• Support hirify.global’s PR program, including tracking coverage, drafting materials, and assisting with media outreach efforts.
• Help facilitate and maintain hirify.global’s relationship with its PR agency, including coordination, follow-ups, and status tracking.
• Assist with internal communications initiatives, including monthly company-wide updates, Bamboo Bytes internal newsletter, and support for executive communications and speaking engagements.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s Data at Work program by assisting with monthly content and reporting throughout 2026.
• Proofread and edit communications materials with strong attention to detail and brand voice.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (graduating in 2027)
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Good instincts for tone, audience, and storytelling.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or coursework related to communications, PR, or writing.
• Experience writing for different audiences (student publications, blogs, social media, etc.).
• You show curiosity, initiative, and growth across all areas of corporate communications.
