Salary: $150,500 - $225,500 yearly base salary + bonus + benefits

• Own technical design and implementation for significant platform capabilities.
• Design and develop capabilities leveraging cloud-native open source components and cutting-edge AI.
• Scope tasks and set priorities for team members.
• Drive execution through high-quality implementation, code health, and production best practices.
• Facilitate team growth by guiding junior engineers and setting design standards.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
• Must have 5+ years experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure products and services in production in Go, Python, TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Prior experience with cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure), GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, Backstage, or related tools.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills for requirements, problem articulation, and system design documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience building with LLMs to solve business problems.
• Strong working knowledge of microservices, software delivery platforms, DevSecOps, and continuous integration/release management processes.
• Familiarity working in a centralized developer platform team.
• Passion for developer experience with high empathy for users.
