What you will do

• Build and harden Kubernetes-based infrastructure for scientific services and ML pipelines, including RBAC and network policies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, focusing on SBOM generation and container image hardening.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, IAM, VPC, S3) using Terraform and Helm.
• Develop platform tooling in Python or Go to enhance observability and developer self-service workflows.
• Establish SRE practices, including SLOs/SLIs, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Enforce software supply chain security and QA quality gates within CI pipelines.

Requirements

• Expertise in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering within large-scale cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, Helm, and containerization.
• Deep experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes operations, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Location: Must be based in Cambridge, MA USA

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience securing ML/AI pipelines, model registries, and inference gateways.
