What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2.
• Design, build, and configure advanced custom PC workstations for optimal performance.
• Perform installation, modification, and repair of hardware, software, and peripherals, including network devices and servers.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate and execute user and server equipment relocations and implement IT projects like system upgrades.
• Proactively identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions or process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an advanced IT support role in a studio or enterprise environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
• This is an onsite role in Santa Monica, CA, requiring in-person attendance five days a week.
• Proven track record of resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Expert technical skills in building and configuring PCs and servers, with expert knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Administration tools: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Wireshark.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with gaming systems, particularly Sony PlayStation hardware, software interfaces, and peripherals.
