Technical Advisor (US National Security)

TL;DR

Technical Advisor (US National Security): Provides expert technical guidance and support to US National Security clients, improving data utilization, system performance, and communication within vital enterprise systems with an accent on evaluating policy, data, and systems for improvements. Focus on leading special projects, translating complex technical matters, and applying expertise in IC mission sets and FISA policy.

Location: Must work within the US National Security community and possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Lead, plan, initiate, coordinate, and execute special projects and programs of varying scope and complexity.
• Evaluate policy, data, and systems, advising on options for improvements or change.
• Implement corrective actions based on assessments and analysis.
• Translate and communicate complex technical subject matter to diverse audiences.
• Utilize U.S. National Security systems to support mission objectives.
• Apply expertise in IC mission sets, FISA policy, and case management.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience working in U.S. National Security, intelligence, defense, or law enforcement communities.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience using U.S. National Security systems, IC mission sets, FISA policy, and case management.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in writing and presenting oral briefs and presentations.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business, Finance, or other related analytical, scientific, or data-based Bachelor of Science degree.
• Experience with FISAMS, Sentinel, and DIVS.
• Experience supporting national security missions/operations or USIC functions, roles, and/or components.
• Experience working in a federal-interagency environment and briefing executive-level audiences.
