Software Engineer II (Frontend Development)

TL;DR

Software Engineer II (Frontend Development): Developing web UI experience for the demand management platform and enabling new Ads Product to advertisers with an accent on customer satisfaction. Focus on building metrics, monitoring the impact of features, and learning new technologies.

Location: Employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $100,600 – $199,000 per year.

• Work closely with PMs, UX designers and partner teams to design and develop features from concept to release and live operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Solid CS fundamentals, solid inclination for architecting at scale.
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Proficient in data driven decision making, ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development and testing tools.
• Ability to analyze data and build metrics that measure business impact.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Passion for UX and creating high quality user experiences.
• Solid collaborator and effective team communicator.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline end-to-end engineering workflows.
