What you will do

• Lead the Security Foundations Engineering team focusing on Platform Security, Application Security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Define and execute the vision and strategy for security engineering aligned with the company's mission.
• Oversee security architecture and ensure secure-by-design principles are applied across the development lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in apps and services to anticipate future challenges.
• Establish KPIs to measure safety and security effectiveness and report platform risks to executive leadership.
• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on scalable and cost-effective security engineering solutions.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of security engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Must work from a US office (Bellevue, Los Angeles, or Palo Alto) 4+ days per week.
• Proven track record of developing and executing Security Engineering strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience leading large-scale engineering and security organizations.
• Experience with mobile app development, UI, API, and Data platforms.
• Background in collaborating with cross-functional executives in globally distributed environments.
