TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Vancouver): Owning the full sales cycle and bringing in new business with an accent on achieving sales targets and building lasting partnerships. Focus on territory-based qualifying, outreach, and conducting product demonstrations to align solutions with client needs.

Location: On-site in Vancouver, Canada. This is a field-based role.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 a year

What you will do

  • Consistently achieve sales targets by bringing in new business opportunities.
  • Conduct territory-based qualifying and outreach via phone, email & social touches.
  • Perform discovery calls and product demonstrations to recommend solutions.
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close using CRM.
  • Align solutions to partner needs and business objectives through cost-benefit analysis.
  • Work closely with other departments and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of success.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and generate new leads.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
  • Curious, adaptable, resilient, and proactive with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, excelling at building authentic relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Punjabi).
  • Experience within the beauty and wellness industry.
  • Background in SaaS, online marketplaces, or payment platforms.
