Lead Designer

TL;DR

Lead Designer (UI/UX): Redesigning and modernizing a funding platform for pre-IPO startups with an accent on simplifying legal complexity and improving user experience. Focus on creating detailed Figma mockups, leading new projects, and driving product-market fit through community features.

Location: This position is based in San Francisco, CA, US, and requires in-person work at the San Francisco office. Visa sponsorship is available.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Redesign hirify.global with a new, modern design system to reduce design debt.
• Lead new projects from detailed Figma mockups to production deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with the support team to prioritize and resolve common investor problems.
• Act as a design resource for engineers and screen product suggestions.
• Improve community features for founders and investors post-funding.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing minimalism and simplicity.
• Critical eye for pixel-perfect detail.
• Ability to code CSS and HTML and submit to a git repository.
• Excitement to engage with and learn from users (founders and investors).
• Good judgment on when to use data (A/B testing) vs. taste.
• Excellent at understanding and simplifying complex information.
