Location: This role is based in San Francisco, CA and requires joining the team five days per week in office.

What you will do

• Serve as a technical accounting expert in sales and scoping conversations.
• Demo the hirify.global product and answer technical accounting questions on sales calls.
• Identify customer pain points and collaborate with product and engineering to customize and build solutions.
• Guide the future product roadmap by communicating customer insights to the product development team.
• Build marketing materials and shape the evolving Go-to-Market strategy.

Requirements

• Deep accounting experience required, ideally a mix of public and industry accounting in the technology space.
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows such as period close and JE approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with accounting software or financial technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience on accounting topics such as ASC606 revenue recognition, ASC830 foreign currency accounting, and ASC842 lease accounting is a plus.
• Prior solution consulting experience is a plus.
