What you will do

• Provide technical direction and support to teams across the group.
• Lead teams to deliver quality tooling and products that reduce developer toil.
• Engage with other disciplines and teams across FT to ensure effective collaboration.
• Help continuously improve technology, process, and culture, taking ownership of problems and seeing solutions through to completion.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Actively collaborate across teams both within and outside of I&O.

Requirements

• Experience technically leading teams and projects.
• Effective communication skills, able to break down tasks and give/receive constructive feedback.
• Customer-focused with a strong focus on building and running reliable, stable, and secure systems.
• Enthusiasm about operability & monitoring of systems and Cloud infrastructure.
