Data Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Fintech): Connecting to the hirify.global Commerce ERP solution to ensure the regulatory compliance of the commerce business. Focus on building an ETL platform used for generating financial reports.

Location: Required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg or Berlin from Tuesday to Thursday. Hybrid working model allows remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

What you will do

• Develop and evaluate statistical models and algorithms for complex marketing issues.
• Independently analyze complex data to identify new insights and potential for performance optimization.
• Identify direct and indirect correlations between key figures and derive recommendations for action.
• Link and use data from tracking systems and other reporting sources.
• Support the further development and testing of performance-relevant (attribution) models.
• Initiate and further develop prediction and classification models using machine learning algorithms.

Requirements

• At least two years of hands-on experience in Data Science, ideally in an agency, e-commerce, or performance-driven environment.
• Initial experience with machine learning algorithms and a solid understanding of common data analysis methods.
• Proficient in SQL and either Python or R.
• Experience with Dagster or comparable data orchestration tools is highly appreciated.
• Naturally curious and enjoy exploring new topics, statistical methods, and emerging technologies.
