TL;DR

Team Lead Data Analytics & BI: Leading the transition from static reporting to predictive, data-driven decision-making and implementing a robust semantic data layer and KPI framework. Focus on defining and rolling out LLM-based self-service analytics and acting as a strategic partner to leadership to drive measurable climate impact.

Location: This is a hybrid role requiring 60% on-site presence in Munich or Berlin, Germany.

What you will do

  • Lead the transition from static reporting to predictive, data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics across the organization.
  • Design and implement a robust semantic data layer and KPI framework, establishing governance standards.
  • Define and roll out (LLM-based) self-service analytics, enabling intuitive data access for non-technical users.
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating business goals into measurable KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Data Analyst team, continuously improving workflows and allocating resources effectively.
  • Drive the BI/Analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science, including several years in a lead or senior role.
  • Fluent in SQL and modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, AWS, BI tools) and comfortable working hands-on.
  • Strong people leadership and communication skills, able to coach a small team and collaborate with diverse functions.
  • Very good command of English (C1+) for communication.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup, with 60% on-site presence required in Munich or Berlin.
