What you will do

• Lead and support multiple engineering teams in Los Angeles and Seattle.
• Own reliable and sustainable delivery by managing rituals, tracking, and partner relations.
• Directly manage technical producers, coaching them on craft and career.
• Assess and improve organizational maturity, health, and composition.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure on-time, quality work delivery for VALORANT customers.
• Partner with leaders across VALORANT and Riot's platform teams to meet strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large teams.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing leaders of teams.
• Experience applying Agile or Lean development methodologies at scale.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience working with SRE, DevOps, or software operations engineering teams.
• Experience working with teams building software tools or engines for game developers.
• Experience working with teams building software for game performance and reliability.
• Experience in game development or a good understanding of how artists, engineers, and game designers build assets and game features for a modern game.
