What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing engineers across a team.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and commercial leaders to achieve goals.
• Own delivery management, lead and participate in planning, and ensure successful delivery.
• Set cycle goals/KPIs and support the team in delivering the right outcomes.
• Ensure the team can effectively own and operate components within their respective domains.
• Collaborate with other managers and lead engineering-wide initiatives and process improvements.
• Design and evolve an effective engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or Engineering Manager in a growth-focused team.
• Familiarity with growth strategies, including experimentation, data analytics, and A/B testing.
• Experience leading and/or managing engineers and providing constructive feedback.
• Clear communication skills, able to simplify problems for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing competing priorities across new features, iterative improvement, tech debt, and scalability.
• Passion for inspiring and leading teams in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Significant prior hands-on experience as a senior+ engineer with at least one part of the tech stack: Mobile (React Native, iOS, Android), Web Frontend (React, TypeScript, Apollo, Tailwind), Backend (TypeScript, Go, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, GRPC), or Hosting Platform (GCP, AWS).
